  • Faculty must have taught at least one American Cultures course any time between Fall 2006 and Fall 2008.
  • Faculty who have demonstrated innovative teaching practices in the American Cultures program.
  • Faculty or staff who have supported the development of teaching and learning, contributing to the overall quality of the American Cultures learning environment.

The Award

  • One award will be given.
  • Recipients will receive a $2,500 cash award from the campus.
  • Recipients will be recognized by the American Cultures Program, honored at a public ceremony, and permanently indicated as a recipient on the American Cultures website.

    3. Influence on student learning

The written statement is limited to a maximum of five pages.

  3. Provide Two References. Two references, of no more than one page each, must be provided by people who are able to comment on the nominee's innovation claims. One of the referees must be the Chair of the nominee's Department or School.
