What revelations have teaching, learning and living during the pandemic “cracked open” for you? What is visible now that was not before? What is the role of grief in the classroom and in our campus lives? Join the Teaching in Troubled Times community for a reflective discussion on our pedagogies in an era of trauma, fear, and resilience. Our goal is to focus our attention on the dilemmas and ambivalences that have been laid bare by the pandemic. Without providing quick fixes, we plan to share opportunities to shift our thinking, experiment with new methods and practice/try-on different ways of engaging with our students and each other.
All are welcome. We will be recording and capturing insights and suggestions for participants and those who can’t make it.
